Refugee Couple

The couple had fled a war in the Middle East and had arrived in USA with very little, and the wife nine months pregnant. The owner of the Patriot Diner offered them a free meal. Suddenly the woman’s water broke, so he rushed them to the hospital, where she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. They named him Isa, citing Jesus in the Qur’an.

The diner owner saw a light, and heard, “As you’ve done to the least of these, you’ve done unto Me!”

Then he heard the song, “Peace on earth; goodwill towards men.”

He exclaimed, “God bless us, everyone” beneath a banner proclaiming:
