An Important File(for Friday Fictioneers)

With the flood and most of the town evacuated, Nigel decided it was the perfect time. “Let’s go!” he said to the youths.
One of them threw a rock into a window and they entered a empty building. One of the youths entered the combination to a lock in a secret room then went to help his friends ransack the store. A few moments later Nigel returns with a brown envelope. Suddenly a group of men enter the store with guns drawn, demanding the envelope. A gunfight breaks out. Then one of the youth pushes a button…BOOM!

  1. Dear Kevin,

Explosive story. My only quarrel with it was the switch from past tense to present tense in the middle. It made it a bit confusing. Aside from that…as Neil said, a lot story.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle
