Aliens in New York(for Friday Fictioneers)

Dave Wallace walked along Ellis Island, fantasizing about the days when immigrants arrived there, dreaming of a better life in America. Suddenly a boat arrived and four men disembarked. Frightened, Dave wondered what’s going on.
As he turned to flee he bumped into a two men in dark suits. One of the men displayed a badge, saying, “Federal agents.” After detaining the men from the boat one of the agents fatally shot Wallace. He said to his partner, “The public can’t know extraterrestrials tried to enter through Ellis Island.”
“2016! We’re supposed to come to 1916!” an alien moaned.

    1. I actually didn’t intend it as a double entendre, but was trying to do something out of the box. Since Ellis Island no longer operates, I just had the extraterrestrials come at the wrong time.
